AUTUMN HIKE IN THE HAMLET OF ORLEANS

Please join the Canandaigua Botanical Society and Ontario Pathways for a walk along the former railroad bed to learn about the flora and fauna of autumn.

 A great big THANK YOU to Leona for leading our walk and to Bill for gaining access to this well kept sanctuary.  Not only did Leona share a wealth of information about the ferns, plants, and trees, but she shared a great app for identifying bird songs too!


On a beautiful morning Bill and Leona welcomed Maria, Sharon, Laura and Thomas to stroll through the paths of the Burroughs Audubon Nature Sanctuary on Railroad Mills Road in Victor, NY.  Leona shared this species list with us:
