Thriving through our 146th year!

This evening (April 24, 2020) would have been our 146th annual potluck dinner and annual meeting.  Due to the Covid-19 pandemic it has been cancelled.  Dr. David Smart was going to be giving us an informative TICK TALK.  We will invite him to present his TICK TALK in the future.  The Canandaigua 2020-2021 Program has not yet been printed and may or may not be available this year.

In order to keep our beloved Canandaigua Botanical Society growing in 2020 we will be increasing our presence here online until we can safely meet in person again.  We encourage you to check in here often and get out in nature more often.  We also invite you to share images of what you're finding while you're out walking and perhaps share reviews of books or videos that you think we might appreciate.  The easiest way to get things posted here would be to send it to Laura at canandaiguabotanical@gmail.com.

To get us started, this is a list of local sites and organizations of botanical interest that we publish on the back of our printed programs:

Are you finding you have some time to enjoy the great outdoors but there’s not a Botanical event scheduled?  Here are several locations and organizations of botanical interest.  Looking for company?  Connect with fellow Canandaigua Botanical Society members to see what species you might discover together!
