GANNETT HILL
ONTARIO COUNTY PARK
6475 Gannett Hill Park Drive, Naples, NY
Ten thousand to twenty thousand years ago, during the Glacial Age, ice carved and sculptured the Finger Lakes Region.  There’s no better place to slip away to than the highest point in Ontario County, Gannett Hill Park, in the scenic Bristol Hills.  At an elevation of 2,256 feet above sea level, you’ll have expansive autumn views.  We will meet at the parking area adjacent to the Lookout and observe autumn plants on our walk to the “Jump-Off”.

LAGOON PARK WALK

Lagoon Park walk with Maura Sullivan
Saturday, September 16, 2017
beginning at 10 AM

Join us as we enjoy a walk through the Lagoon Park with Maura Sullivan of FLCC.  We are looking forward to a leisurely stroll through this 34 acre wildlife preserve overlooking the Canandaigua Outlet that has been our focus of restoration and community education in recent years.  We may revisit the restoration efforts and continued work by the Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association, learn about the relationship shared with FLCC, or take a closer look at the habitat of Lagoon Park and the creatures it supports.  Meet at the Gazebo to start.

THANKS to Dawn Carter for sharing these photos from the Lagoon Park walk:
