This was taken on October 4, 2020. Look for the wooden foot bridge and Cemetery street sign on the right about 3 miles from Route 53 on Bean Station Road. Parking is ahead on the left by a tree with a Finger Lakes Trail parking sign.
Huckleberry Bog in early August
What a delight to revisit part of the Finger Lakes Trail system which became a favorite hike for all nine in our group. The path from Bean Station Road up the hill to the North Trailhead was much dryer this visit. Also, more Red Eft Eastern Newts than Ladies Slippers or Gaywings. The borrowed guidebooks still very accurate!
