Looking forward to our 146th year!

Plans are in the works for the events of our 146th printed program to be available at our annual potluck dinner, presentation, and meeting on Friday, April 24, 2020.

Wondering what to do until then?  We can help!

Visit the George Eastman House Dutch Connection Exhibit now until March 1st.

Check out the Finger Lakes Native Plant Society website.  They are based in Ithaca and have an abundance of information to enjoy online when you can't quite get outside yet.

Learn about early spring blooms and then go find them: Skunk Cabbage, Blood Root, Trout Lily, Cut-leaved Toothwort, Blue Cohosh, Twin Leaf, Starflower, Hepatica, Spring Beauty, Dutchman's Breeches, Bellwort, violets, Wood Anemone,  ...

Check out local sites for early spring wildflowers.  Skunk Cabbage blooms are worth the visit at the FLCC Trail

Plan to visit a Maple Weekend event or three.  Maple Weekends are March 21-22 and March 28-29.

Follow Canandaigua Botanical Society on Facebook for events of interest.  We often share events from Burroughs Audubon Nature Club, Sonnenberg Gardens, Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association, FLCC, and other local organizations.

Mark your calendar for FLCC's Muller Field Station Open House on Saturday, April 11, 2020.

Dream of planting your own garden of native perennials.  We have two trips planned to Amanda's Garden this year!
