Ontario Pathways National Trails Day walk
Orleans water tower on Waddel Road

We will be joining the folks of Ontario Pathways on National Trails Day to hike at Orleans from the water tower south where there will be a short dedication of a trail bench.  There is also two other side trails on this section.  The new one, the Hemlock Grove Loop Trail, features a really big culvert of great masonry work.  Botanical members are encouraged to bring field guides along to help educate folks on the plethora of species found along the Ontario Pathways. Note we will begin the walk at 9:30 as set by the Ontario Pathways folks.  If you arrive at 10 please walk south to meet us.

Also bring along your passport from the Wegmans Passport Series to obtain a rubbing or two.  Passports can be obtained free from the Wegmans Customer Service desks in Canandaigua and Geneva.

Directions: Drive east on CR 488 to Orleans and take a right onto Waddel Road (where the speed reduces to 40 and the road turns left towards Phelps).
