INVASIVE PLANTS IN YOUR BACK YARD
Master Gardener, John Nelson, from the Monroe County Cornell Cooperative Extension, will explain the term invasive species and describe the NY Sate regulations for them. The talk will then review the various invasive plants found in Finger Lakes gardens either as weeds or as ornamental plants that are no longer recommended for landscaping. The presentation will include methods for control. when available, and recomended replacements for the invasive ornamental plants. FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
