In January the Erie Canal Museum in Syracuse is kicking off its year of programming with a virtual lecture from Dr. Camden Burd, author of The Roots of Flower City: Horticulture, Empire, and the Remaking of Rochester, New York,
which examines how Rochester became the center of horticulture in
America during the 19th century. This free talk will take place on
January 15th at 6:30pm and will be broadcast over Zoom.
