looking for SKUNK CABBAGE
The Sonnenberg Garden Club has asked us for a presentation of the Canandaigua Botanical Society. It will begin at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 11 at Wood Library in Canandaigua. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn about, and become a member of, the second oldest botanical club in the USA. Invite a friend or two. This event is free and open to the public.
Lengthening daylight hours, warmer temperatures, and springtime showers serve as the stimuli for a fantastic display of woodland wildflowers. In this program, you will be introduced to a wide array of blossoms found in the diverse forests of the Finger Lakes region. Common perennial plants and lesser known plants will be discussed. Come ready to learn more about our natural beauties.
Join Bruce Gilman, PhD and Professor Emeritus at Finger Lakes Community College for this informative program.
