FOREST THERAPY WALK AND PROGRAM at BANC
301 Railroad Mills Road. Victor, NY 14564
One of the top wellness trends sweeping the U.S., Shinrin-Yoku Forest Therapy, also known as forest bathing, has been popular for the past 30 years in Japan. Research has shown that forest bathing provides profound mental, emotional and physical health benefits. Deb Denome is an Educator, Certified Forest Therapy Guide, Horticultural Therapist and Herbalist. Since 1997 she has served as Director of Shimmering Light Farm and Renewal Center in South Bristol, New York in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Deb will lead us on a forest therapy walk at the BANC Sanctuary. During this time your mind can rest as you sink into invitations that immerse you in the sights, sounds, aromas, sensations and wisdom of the forest.
