WOOD AND FIELDS WALK

Saturday, September 17, 2011

Time: 10 am (or 9:30 am if carpooling from the Ontario County Courthouse parking lot)

Where: Orleans Pathways trail beginning at the historic wooden water tower in Orleans, NY.

(Waddell Road between Route 488 and county road 23)

This walk will be a joint venture between the Canandaigua Botanical Society and Ontario Pathways. Nan Seyfried – a member of our society and a noted birder/naturalist will lead the walk. The pathways are well maintained by Ontario Pathways members although you may need a walking stick or boots if it’s been rainy. We’ll see autumn leaves, listen for birds, identify plants (wildflowers & vines), and maybe see some mushrooms.
