Aquatic Invasive Species Workshop

Come learn how you can help to protect the waters of Canandaigua Lake from harmful, non-native invasive species.
The Canandaigua Town Environmental Conservation Board will be hosting an Aquatic Invasive Species workshop on August 9th from 6-8pm at Crouch Hall at Onanda Park in the Town of Canandaigua (4965 County Road 16). Dr. Bruce Gilman, a professor of Environmental Conservation from FLCC will be leading this family friendly workshop. There is no cost and the event is open to the public.

Hands-on presentation with samples of local invasive species found in Canandaigua Lake. A family-friendly opportunity to learn about non-native species and what you can do about the infestation. Clean boat demo also presented.
