Paul and Kathryn Cooley began this adventure in 2009. They decided to use their past experiences and capacity to learn new things to start a hydroponics strawberry farm. 2010 was their first season that included their U-pick Farm, the Geneva Farmers Market, The Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and the Geneva Wegmans. They also started making strawberry jam which was an unexpected hit and available year round.
Paul Cooley will give us a guided tour of the hydropinics farm including the pump house. It should be timed just right for picking berries from the hydroponic cones.
