Muller Field Station TALK ON THE WILD SIDE
Come learn about grassland habitats, their importance for the bird species that depend on its vitality, and current research being done to assess the quality of local grassland habitats! Shannon Dermody, FLCC environmental conservation technical specialist II and friend of Muller Field Station, is joining MFS for this exciting talk! Shannon will present her thesis research and introduce us to the state of grassland birds and their habitat in the Northeast, and novel approaches used to study this group of birds. Shannon will begin her field work in April 2026 and is excited to share her proposed research to the MFS community.
