Monica Beck is working on a walk at Highland Park highlighting trees from around the world. We will meet at 10 AM near the Lamberton Conservatory. Parking is available along Reservoir Ave near the Conservatory at 180 Reservoir Ave, Rochester, NY 14620.
On Aug. 18th we hope you'll join us at Highland Park to explore a fraction of George Ellwanger's collection (the 'plant man' of the Ellwanger and Barry's Mt. Hope nursery from approx. 1840-1906). There are many exotic species from all over the world that many have never seen. Quite a few of the trees are well over a hundred years old! You won't be disappointed.
