Burroughs Audubon Nature Club

Are you familiar with the Burroughs Audubon Nature Club?

We have enjoyed walks at their sanctuary on Railroad Mills Road as well as an investigative visit to their Slater property south of Dansville, NY.

The Burroughs Audubon Nature Club (BANC) is an organization of hikers, birdwatchers, butterfly, wildflower, and nature lovers who are dedicated to promoting the natural sciences, ecology, and conservation through regular programs and field trips. Their membership consists of people from the greater Rochester, NY area.

BANC enjoys a 30-acre nature sanctuary with trails and a clubhouse located on 301 Railroad Mills Road in Victor, south-east of the village of Pittsford, and a 90-acre nature preserve near Dansville in Livingston County

Friendly and knowledgeable people, along with outstanding facilities and programs, make BANC membership a great opportunity for individuals and families of all ages.

Consider attending one of their programs: http://bancny.org/programs.html and perhaps becoming a member of BANC!
