Discover Burroughs Audubon Nature Club!

The Burroughs Audubon Nature Club (BANC) is an organization of hikers, birdwatchers, butterfly, wildflower, and nature lovers who are dedicated to promoting the natural sciences, ecology, and conservation through regular programs and field trips. Our membership consists of people from the greater Rochester, NY area.

BANC enjoys a 30-acre nature sanctuary with trails and a clubhouse located in Victor, south-east of the village of Pittsford, and a 90-acre nature preserve near Dansville in Livingston County

Friendly and knowledgeable people, along with outstanding facilities and programs, make BANC membership a great opportunity for individuals and families of all ages.

Family Friendly Guided Walks

There will be opportunities for family-friendly tree walks under the guidance of nature educator, Jane McConnochie. Bird lovers should bring your binoculars to look for migrating spring birds, or sit on the porch to watch birds at the feeder. Connie Kellogg and Geoff Gretton of Mendon Foundation Birders will be present to offer their expertise. Masks, social distancing, and sign in for contact tracing required.
